(Atlanta, GA) December 22nd, 2014– This past weekend, Atlanta-based sister group “Mako Girls” performed for several families on the Macy’s Stage at South Dekalb Mall. The event brought to you by Dekalb County Commissioner’s Larry Johnson provided a family atmosphere with free entertainment and special gifts for attendees. Performing their lead single “Turning Up The Crowd”, all age attendees enjoyed their high energy set and greeted the girls when they stepped off stage.

MAKO Girls are a fresh, new trio that is made up of three sisters from Decatur, GA. Each sister has her own individual style and personality that brings something unique to this fierce girl group. Mimi (13), A-Ni (11), & Kena (15) Ochoa are singers, dancers, songwriters who love to perform. Mimi is the “girly-girl’ that loves all things classy. A-Ni is “the perfect mixture of Pop & Hip-Hop” their very own Pop/ Hip-Hop princess who possess an amazing voice. Kena is the”punk rock kid” with a random personality. As they put it,”we are really down to earth and other youth our age should relate to us”.
With music being their passion and a West Indian background, MAKO Girls have the rhythm to keep it moving. This H.I.T. (Hardworking, Intelligent, Talented) trio dream of one day selling out arenas. Their genre of music is R&B/ Pop/ Hip Hop/ and Inspirational. They want to make music that is fun, family friendly so that everyone can enjoy.
