Quinn Coleman aka Dj Spicoli has passed away at 31. He was one of two Sons of former BET CEO Debra Lee, And was most known for being a prominent Music promoter and entrepreneur. He was the senior director of A&R at Capitol records, one of the most infamous buildings in Hollywood.
Quinn was a co-founder of the DC to BC music marketing group that put on the Washington, D.C based music festival Trillectro on the map. Trillectro was orchestrated to give local and upcoming hip-hop and electronic music artists a venue to reach audiences and promote themselves.

The group Brasstracks wrote on Twitter “Quinn’s positivity and passion was infectious, he made everyone around him feel good and always felt more than a friend than A&R.” Basstracks also stated they’re dedicating their debut album, out August 21, to Coleman.“He truly believed in us and worked so hard on this project with us. We were the first act he signed to Capitol and we were so proud to work with him. Quinn was family.” Quinn was also one of the first producers to bring Kendrick Lamar to D.C.
